Tongue Reading & Stone Medicine
Classical Chinese Tongue Diagnosis and Stone Application Practicum

Chinese Medicine examines the tongue to reveal information about a person’s current state of health. This class will introduce a simple approach to tongue diagnosis, and from there we will use stones therapeutically according to the principles of Chinese Medicine to address the various energetic conditions that we find. Join us to learn and experience an ancient, fascinating system of diagnosis and a powerful way of restoring balance in the body.

Taught by Adam Sharon (L.Ac, MS).

Adam Sharon (L.Ac, MS) is a student, teacher and practitioner of the deep mysteries and powerful healing found in Chinese Medicine. Beginning in 2001, he began studying acupuncture (by practicing it on himself!) and spent the next few years studying the modern system known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) before switching to CCM (Classical Chinese Medicine – the really ancient stuff!). In 2005, he began studying with Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th Generation Daoist priest from the Jade Purity School.

Adam eventually went on to get a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and engage in post-graduate study of several other healing modalities including Chinese Dietary Therapy, Qi Gong, and Stone Medicine. As a practitioner, he has worked with people in a variety of clinical settings over the years. As a teacher, he has taught classes ranging on topics from cancer prevention to human energetics.

“Sharing the wisdom of Chinese Medicine means sharing something that’s very much alive. The spirit of the medicine comes through its modalities, be it stones, needles, movements or anything else. It is said that any healing system is a belief system. So when we resonate deeply with a particular modality, that’s when we’re really open to healing.”
